The three-year project is improving health and wellbeing and reducing isolation and loneliness for adults and older people in the Antrim area. The volunteer members could face a range of issues including a physical or mental health diagnosis. The project is using the £63,400 grant to provide structured group and informal drop-in sessions to bring people together and focus on social interaction, while taking part in activities including vegetable growing, garden design and craft activities.
A larger amount of funding (between £10,001 and £500,000) for projects working with your community – whether that’s a community living in the same area, or people with similar interests or life experiences.
