Zest for Life. - Project

Project overview

The project will work in partnership with Alzheimer’s Association and Blaenau Gwent & Torfaen Mind to provide a new arts programme for people aged 45-65 with cognitive impairment and their carers, to alleviate the stresses of young onset dementia. Activities will include a ceramics café, free speech living words, singing and musical instruments, an advice service and specialist dementia counselling. The grant, over three years, will fund the salaries and project running costs.
