The Snowdrop Project - Providing more Doula support to vulnerable fami - Project

Project overview

This is an expansion of a pilot project which aims to support vulnerable parents and families during pregnancy, birth and beyond through the provision of trained Doulas. Based in Burnley, Lancashire, this funding will recruit and train five new Doulas in order to support approximately 100 women and families each year. The project will support families with complex needs, including those who experience domestic violence, mental ill health and medical complications.
