The organisation will use the funding to hold a Community Awards event to celebrate the achievements of improving the lives of local people. The awards event will be a sociable evening with food, entertainment which will enable relationship-building from other stakeholders including primary and secondary schools, colleges, universities, faith institutions of all kinds, charities, community groups, women's organisations, youth organisations, diaspora organisations and trade unions.
