The organisation will use the funding to host a weekend of fun activities as part of the national Fun Places Festival in October. The organisation will bring local residents together to celebrate who they are, through creative activities and learning new skills supported by local artists. Activities will include drawing on walls, ideas, sketches and messages of unity and hope. They will draw upon the history and global identity of their community, and encourage people to become active and creative citizens.
