'In Her Footsteps' - Project

Project overview

The group will use the funding to engage new volunteers in the creation of a performance telling the positive stories of local BME women including survivors of sexual and domestic abuse, to be shared on Facebook and at a community event. This will involve training volunteers in rights and responsibilities to improve their services, and will provide a safe environment and peer and mentoring support for vulnerable women, and will encourage more marginalised and isolated women to seek help.
