Haven Psychotherapy Team - Project

Project overview

This project will work with refugees, asylum seekers and migrants to reduce the impact of various traumas they have faced. Beneficiaries who have multiple mental health issues as a result of fleeing persecution, torture or war zones will receive therapy and support from psychotherapists. The project will improve awareness and knowledge about refugee issues and cultural norms by working with health services, schools, social services and other strategic and voluntary sector services to reduce stigmatisation.
