"Up a Height" – support for families in crisis. - Project
Project overview
The project will provide a service to young families in the most deprived areas of Newcastle who are in positions of extreme hardship and crisis with issues including benefit sanctions, sudden job loss, eviction or threat of eviction and family crisis. Many have an identifiable legal need that means that specialist legal advice can help solve their immediate crisis. It will provide help in practical concerns such as homelessness, food, addictions, mental health and offending.
