£63,000 was awarded to Worcestershire County Council to help assess the feasibility of a Social Impact Bond (SIB), aimed at reducing loneliness and social isolation among older people. Investment raised through the SIB will fund interventions to increase social connectivity and active lifestyles. The grant will fund specialist external legal, financial and accounting support, as well as obtain independent verification of how they measure the impact of their proposed interventions over six months.
