Project overview

This 33 month project will support 216 single parents living in Cardiff and Newport to improve their life chances, mental well being and prevent future mental health problems through delivery of self-management training. 18 beneficiaries will go on to run sustainable peer-support groups. This grant, over 33 months, will be used to fund a part time (21 hours) Project Co-ordinator, a full time (35 hours) Community Engagement Worker, expenses, evaluation, publicity, IT and office equipment and overheads.
