The grant will be used to develop the Hospital & Home project which aims to provide a better level of support for families of meningitis patients. Families will receive specialist support at a time when it is needed most and will generally move forward from their experience much quicker. The Meningitis Trust hope to introduce this service throughout all hospitals in NI.
