Sustainable Livelihoods for young people and women in Tamil Nadu - Project
Project overview
The project is to improve the livelihoods of young people and women in Tsunami affected areas of Tamil Nadu, in India. The project will train these people in new skills such as construction, retail, hospitality and repairs and maintenance, and assist the adults in setting up new business opportunities. This will result in 2,500 young people improving their skills and employment prospects and 1,500 women improving their skills and business opportunities.
