Project overview
A project in Lagos, Nigeria to conduct a feasibility study around providing Independent Life Skills Training for deaf people to equip them with the skills they need to gain employment. The Deaf community in Nigeria is isolated from mainstream activities. There is no access to information, news and services such as the library and the hospital. Deaf people do not have the money to communicate with each other through texting and emails as the majority are unemployed.
