Newbridge High School - Multi Use Games Area - Project
Project overview
Leicestershire County Council will use funding to renovate the derelict tennis courts to create a new, multi-use games area at Newbridge High School. This will enable the school to provide the 2-hour entitlement to PE and sports to 100% of its 522 pupils, who will be able to play tennis, 5-a-side football, netball and basketball on a regular basis. 900 pupils from other schools will also benefit, as will users of the Newbridge Youth Club, which operates at the site, enabling around 10000 community visits.
