Staffordshire County Council will upgrade and drain the playing fields at Moorside High School. This will make the three football pitches and two athletics areas available for longer in the year. This will benefit 750 pupils at the school, along with 850 from other schools, who will use it for curriculum and extra curricular activities. Up to 600 members of the local community are expected to use the fields for sporting activities such as cricket, athletics and football.
