This grant will be used to provide a programme of coaching and support that will enable young people in Orkney to enjoy sport and physical activity. Sports delivered will include rugby, swimming, badminton, netball, basketball, volleyball, cycling, football, tennis, windsurfing, and athletics. The scheme also includes a specialist active steps worker, who will work to reduce barriers to participation for members of a number of excluded groups.
