The project aims to hire a cinema for 5 days from 4-9 July and invite 2000 school children to witness a 40's style cinema show. Upon arrival the children will see sand bags and WW2 posters. When seated, they will experience a 3 minute cacophony of wartime sounds. They will then watch an 8 minute montage of archive film depicting children in wartime, followed by a 20 minute comedy film, circa 1940. A question and answer session between children and WW2 veterans will complete the event.
