The project aims to improve the financial confidence of young people in social housing before they have built up debts, equipping them to cope with setbacks they may face as tenants reducing disadvantage and exclusion, and especially identifying young people most in need due to leaving care or supported housing. These young people will now all be required to attend the Money House programme before moving into social housing to learn money management skills.
