Through the Kinship Foster Care Support project,the 3-year grant will be managed through Belfast Health & Social Care Trust area. A Kinship placement is where a family member takes responsibility & care for a child/young person, rather than a stranger (stranger foster care). 60 young people aged 8-18 years old, who are at risk of/in care will be engaged in the project.The project will also run a service for children in stranger placements aged 8-11 years old that cannot access creative therapies/activities.
