The project, in the Sofala region of Mozambique, aims to tackle poverty among disabled people aged 16 - 30 by improving income generating opportunities through self-employment and formal employment in the private and public sectors. Beneficiaries will be supported to gain employment or start up their own businesses. 60 beneficiaries will be trained as primary teachers in colleges at the provincial capital. This will be the first time disabled people have been trained as teachers in this region.
