The Home Allotment Volunteers project will address social isolation in people aged 50+ in Cardiff, through Volunteer Befrienders providing a one to one befriending service with the specific purpose of providing companionship, encouraging beneficiaries to grow food, increasing their exercise, developing self confidence and increasing their social contact and participation in local horticultural and social activities.
