The 'Gateways 2 Adulthood Project' will support young people aged 12-20 with learning disabilities and/or special educational needs who are at risk of dropping out or are not in education, employment or training. The project will help them move from school and adolescence into work and adulthood. It will address issues like disengagement from education; a lack of employment opportunities, rural isolation; personal isolation, vulnerability at school and fear of the future beyond school.
