Project overview

This is a project from the village of Lochboisdale, on the island of South Uist, Outer Hebrides. The group will use the funding to establish the Rent-A-Hen enterprise on the island, where local community members will be trained to care for hens, and then to package and sell the eggs. This enterprise will generate an income through the sale of eggs, which will be re-invested into the project to make it self-sustaining.
