Psychological therapies for anorexia nervosa: What works for whom, and does
Psychological therapies for anorexia nervosa: What works for whom, and does - Project
Project overview
This England-wide project will compare two psychological therapies that have recently shown positive healthoutcomes, applying them to more 'real-life' clinical settings. The applicant states that anorexia nervosa is a disorder with high health, social, and personal costs for the sufferer and their carers, and a mortality rate of around 13 to 20 per cent per annum. The project will engage people not currently receiving treatment and healthcare providers, and establish an effective, usable treatment model.
