The Foster Care Associations - A Forum for Change - Project

Project overview

This expansion of an existing project will extend provision of local foster care associations (FCAs) into 15 areas of England that are currently not served. An FCA provides a meeting place for foster carers to share problems, ideas and solutions including peer support. They can also provide a meeting place for the sons and daughters of foster carers. This project aims to encourage, support and enable foster carers to set up and run local FCAs for the community of foster carers and their families.
