Action for Young Carers Education and Support (AYCES) - Project
Project overview
Carers Support Merton will lead the project to identify and support young carers aged between 10 and 25, especially those caring for someone with a mental health problem. The project, Sutton and Merton Action for Kids who Care (SMAKC), will work to develop new ways to identify 'hidden' young carers and provide them with advocacy, emotional support and opportunities to develop life skills. It will also offer young carers group support and respite activities.
