'Dig In - Stay Out' is a project led by Greater Nottingham Groundwork, which will run over three years, based in Nottingham and covering the East Midlands region. The project will work with young people leaving YOIs to build confidence and reduce the risk of re-offending. It will include working with them prior to release and developing a personal support plan. After release volunteer placements at Groundwork sites will be offered and the young people will have access to further training and education.
