The proposed project is to launch the first annual county fair on Saturday 6th June. The county fair will be for people of all ages with nature trails, conservation projects and craft workshops. Members of the community will be encouraged to adopt a tree, and will be taught how to care for their tree. A wildflower meadow will be created. Craft workshops such as bat/bird box making, green woodworking, felt making and hay making will also take place. Pond dipping and mini beast hunts are also planned.
