This group will use a grant to organise a series of events designed to stimulate an inter-generational commemoration of the 60th Anniversary of the end of WW2. This will include a local amateur dramatic company adopting a variety of wartime roles, period music from a military band, a WW2 art competition for local children, a series of musical pieces created through workshops and reflecting upon the impact of the War upon people's lives and a series of visits by Holocaust survivors to local schools.
