Wildlife habitat improvement and creation - Project

Project overview

With help from a Lottery grant the Gazen Salts Nature Reserve will restore a 3 acre field to a wetland wildflower meadow. The work will be carried out by contractors and a team of volunteers and will provide an attractive area that will protect and conserve the area's wildlife heritage. This area will then be opened up to the public and will be used by schools and colleges for educational projects.
