Access Bike - Project

Project overview

The funding will enable the project to continue its bike workshop, alongside developing a peer mentoring programme and a scheme to help reduce social isolation among elderly people. The project provides young people with the opportunity of owning a bicycle regardless of financial circumstances. The project is based out of a bike workshop and has been designed with young people with the aim of promoting the following benefits: a positive empowerment, through taking part in activities alongside peers who model decision-making and positive choices, and co-evaluating their development.
