Practical and emotional support for people with sight loss
Practical and emotional support for people with sight loss - Project
Project overview
The group will use the funding over three years to sustain and expand their practical and emotional support services for anyone losing their sight due to macular disease. The services will also support friends, family and carers across Scotland and range from traditional peer-support and telephone befriending to an unique injection buddies service for people needing injections into an eyeball as part of their treatment. The project is expected to reach 1,464 people and 134 volunteers.
