Accessible to All - Project

Project overview

The three-year project is using a £198,000 grant to install an indoor water facility at the YMCA's Greenhill campus in Newcastle. The new facility will be primarily used by young people with learning and physical disabilities but will also have wider community benefits. The project is also running respite weekends and activities to develop the young people's skills. The pool will also be used for life saving training and provide a venue for local young people with low confidence to learn to swim.
