Strengthening Support Networks for Parent Carers - Project

Project overview

Contact a Family will work in partnership with Swansea CVS, Powys Teaching Health Board, Ysgol Cedewain, STAND NW and Wrexham LEA, the project will provide networks for parents who have disabled children. Groups will be created and led by parents who have expressed an interest in getting to know other families in their local area. Training will be provided in facilitation, education, welfare rights, mindfulness and wellbeing. £282,288 over three years, will fund salaries, project running costs and office equipment.
