Can Do Wales - Project

Project overview

Leonard Cheshire Disability will expand the existing 'Can Do Wales' project, working with young disabled people in Wrexham, Swansea, Cardiff and Newport. They will provide a range of activities that encourage young disabled people to gain skills to take up volunteering, training and employment opportunities. They will expand the opportunities available and work with more local groups and employers to increase confidence in being inclusive. The grant, £499,114 over three years, will cover salaries and project running costs.
