Project overview

This project will see the Learning and Work Institute work with 60 colleges across the UK to help them achieve the Carers Federation's Quality Standard in Carers Support accreditation. This is based on identifying young adult carers in education and providing support for them, including dedicated policies, a designated lead, and connections with care services. The organisation also aims to influence public policy, so young adult carers are offered specific support rather than being grouped with other needs.
