RAY Ceredigion Canolfan Awel Môr - Project

Project overview

Ray Ceredigion will develop the centre in Aberaeron, providing a focus on those who are most isolated to improve their overall health and wellbeing. A family centre will enable families with children aged 1-4 years to come together to build peer support and attend a programme of activities to develop their skills and experiences. The range of activities for young people with disabilities will be expanded upon to provide new opportunities, and the youth project supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged young people to cope with adverse childhood experiences will be extended to include the 8-10 age group. The grant, over three years, will fund salaries, recruitment, training and travel expenses, accommodation and utilities, marketing and communication, monitoring and evaluation, professional and legal fees and the delivery of activities.
