Project overview

The project equips young people most at risk of violence with the skills and confidence to act in a medical emergency. Volunteers teach young people life-saving first aid and also challenge attitudes to violence, raising the confidence and aspirations of participants. The funding will help expand the volunteer cohort to increase delivery in areas where youth violence is an issue, alongside using learning to develop policies that encourage a public health trauma-informed approach to youth violence.
