Project overview
This group will use the funding to strengthen their volunteer network which supports the delivery of services to reduce isolation and loneliness amongst older people living in Glasgow. Services include over seventy weekly social clubs, three Day Care Centres, and Befriending and Welfare Income Maximisation Support. The project will employ an Engagement Volunteer Manager and Volunteer Co-ordinator to run the dedicated Volunteer Support Service.
