The Inclusive Classroom - BRAILLE IT - Project

Project overview

The project aims to achieve higher literacy rates among blind people. The charity will provide courses in the use of Unified English Braille, which is the standard in the UK. The courses will be provided to school staff, young people, families and the wider public in East Lancashire. Funding will go towards a sessional worker, open awards/accreditation units, basic portable braille embosser, stationary, brail paper, ink's & plastic embossing film and volunteer expenses.
