Project overview

Project Summary : Plantlife International will empower local people, building confidence and capacity, create new partnerships and connect with existing activities programmes to enable more people to get involved and take ownership of local green spaces in Bridgend. Specific activities will include creating a 'Green Network', providing training to existing volunteers, working closely with partners to support new volunteers, create and trial new wellbeing activities and support the development of local wellbeing ambassadors and green space guardians. What Money is for : The grant of £247,500, over four years, will contribute towards a total project cost of £364,158. This will predominantly fund revenue cost such as salaries, freelance fees, recruitment, expenses, marketing and overheads, with a small amount of capital equipment.
